Location Located on a nearly deserted beach in Kapaa, Hawaii, ResortQuest Islander on the Beach offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. The hotel is across the street from the Coconut Plantation Marketplace, featuring dining, shopping and a movie theater. The marketplace, with complimentary parking, contains over 60 restaurants and specialty shops. Opaekaa Falls, located three and one half miles from the hotel, offers scenic views of the Makaleha Mountains and a restored Hawaiian village on the riverbank.
Hotel Features. Ceiling fans push the ocean breezes through the lobby veranda that overlooks the lawn and pool area. Gardens and an oceanfront lawn with lounge chairs and pineapple shaped, slatted balconies grace the resort grounds. The hotel includes a palm tree flanked pool, a sundeck, fitness center and a spa tub. Wireless Internet access is available in the public areas of the hotel for a fee.
Guestrooms. ResortQuest Islander on the Beach's 198 air conditioned guestrooms are located in eight three story buildings. Rooms include private patios or balconies with views of the landscaped gardens or the Pacific Ocean. Accommodations are furnished with Hawaiian artwork, bronze statuette hula lamps and stone flooring. Amenities include flat screen televisions. Stainless steel refrigerators, microwave ovens, refrigerators and wet bars with granite countertops are available in each room. High speed Internet access is available for a fee.
